My name is Heather Braatz and I am one of the owners of The Traveling Photographer,LLC.I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin,Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. My Passion is Fine Arts.I have always pursued a career where I could use my passion of the arts. I have been an artist for many years. After having many Friends wanting to purchase my artwork, I have decided to open The Traveling Photographer,LLC. I have done many Oil Paintings,Black and White Photographs and Drawings that capture emotions and evoke the feelings to the viewer. I have always wanted to use my artistic talents to create, but not just for myself. I would like to share it with you.
I chose to work with Black and White and antique finished Photographs. The detail that can be obtained in the shadows is beautiful. I always pay very close attention to the lighting. The correct lighting can have a dramatic effect and illuminate the subjects, creating life on a two-dimensional surface. I feel this makes my artwork unique and popular.
I develop my own prints in my darkroom and all photographs can be made into any size prints. I pride myself on my originality and quality of work. I put a lot of time and myself into each unique photograph or other medium of work.
